The purpose of this conversation is to educate, advocate, and empower faith based leaders so that they can take what they have received back to their congregations.  NEOBHC team that will be leading this conversation is:

  • Yvonka Hall -, Executive Director, discussing health disparities and the impact on the African American Community.

  • Robyn C. Hill, LPCC – Clinical Pastoral Counselor, discussing how to incorporate emotional wellness into spiritual practices.

  • Tracee Black-Fall - Multi-ethnic Advocates for Cultural Competency (MACC), “Who’s Knocking at Your Door” a training on mental health in the church.


May is Mental Health Month

Emotional Well-Being Sunday – A faith-based program to increase awareness in mental health issues that impact the religious communities.  Churches will sign-up to receive a, “Emotional Well-being Sunday” Toolkit that will be filled with mental health information and resources
